I started out running in high school to stay in shape for basketball. I found passion for the sport, finding camaraderie with my cross country team and finding success, qualifying for state, taking 3rd. Attended Dana on scholarship, running both cross country and track & field, qualifying for nationals on multiple occasions. My most memorable moment was racing at nationals in Kenosha in XC my sophomore year, where I ran my fastest time at the 8K distance. Post collegiately, I joined Team Nebraska (now LRCN) and competed in a variety of events, the marathon being my focal point. I’ve raced Boston on 5 occasions, and my marathon PR is 2:30. I finally found the ultra running scene in 2012, looking for greater opportunities to further challenge my physical and mental limits. The GOATz Trail Runs 50K was my first trail running event. To date, I’ve completed 7 100 milers, with my upcoming 100 being Run Rabbit Run in Colorado. My future goals focus on qualifying for Western States and UTMB, while continuing to improve on efficiencies at these ultra distances. I look forward to being a part of the Dirt Run Co. Trail Team, a group of individuals who share common goals!
